The Harvey Nichols Decaf Blend is alive with roasted hazelnut, milk chocolate and tangy citrus flavours. This fragrant, smooth and sweet coffee is packed with punchy Peruvian flavours and 99.9% of the caffeine has been removed using the innovative, eco-friendly and chemical-free Swiss Water Process. The Typica, Bourbon, Caturra, Pache and Catimor beans come from the land of the Incas, Peru. They were harvested from small farms running along the Andes from the border with Ecuador in the north, down to almost level with the capital Lima. The cherry that surrounds the bean is washed off, resulting in a crystal-clean cup and a real sense of where the beans came from. The Swiss Water Process removes caffeine without chemical solvents, using instead hot water, activated charcoal and the magic of science.
